Diabetes Canada receives donation of nearly 40,000 protective face masks from Dymon Storage

As part of Dymon Storage’s initiative to donate 1 million protective face masks to charities across Canada, Diabetes Canada’s clothing collection service, National Diabetes Trust,  is pleased to receive nearly 40,000 protective face masks for use by its clothing collection staff.

This donation will help to protect Diabetes Canada’s clothing collection workers across the country and will also reduce costs for the organization which would have been used towards the purchase of PPE.

“We are grateful to Dymon Storage for their donation to Diabetes Canada at this very difficult time when charitable organizations such as ours need help more than ever,” said Sean Shannon, National Diabetes Trust CEO and President. “We also want to acknowledge the hard work of our staff and to our clothing donors who continue to support us during the pandemic.”

All net proceeds from clothing donations will go to the charitable work of Diabetes Canada and the support it provides to 11.5 million Canadians with diabetes and prediabetes.
