Purpose
This award was established in 1994 to honor the memory of Dr. Gerald S. Wong, an advocate of the highest standard in diabetes care and education. The award is bestowed on a physician in recognition for significant contribution to the diabetes community.Eligibility
A nominee must:
- Be a physician;
- Have demonstrated long standing and dedicated service to the diabetes community; and,
- Have performed service in the form of clinical care, teaching, advocacy, research or a combination of these
