See you in 2023!

Thank you for your support and for helping Diabetes Canada deliver a memorable 2022 D-Camps season! After two summers of being away from our in-person program, our dedicated team of counsellors and medical staff was thrilled to be back together with campers in 2022. There were heart-warming reunions, new connections and friendships and other magical moments that make D-Camps, and those who are part of it, such an important part of Diabetes Canada’s work.

That’s why we’re counting down the days until our return to Camp this summer! Our team is already planning program details and we will provide updates and registration information as they are confirmed.

We also wanted to advise that based on the recommendation of D-Camps' National Medical Task Force, Covid-19 vaccination will no longer be mandatory to attend a D-Camps program. The health and safety of all campers and participants of D-camps is our top priority and we will continue to have policies and procedures in place around screening, tracking, and testing. Diabetes Canada continues to strongly encourage all eligible campers to become fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as an important measure to protect our communities.

Please note that our National Medical Task Force is continually monitoring the public health landscape and our policy is subject to change based on public health guidelines.

Feel free to reach out to the D-Camps team at with any questions. And we will keep everyone updated on all aspects of the new camp season as further information is finalized. Let’s continue to stay connected—please like and follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

Why support diabetes camp

We offer subsidies to families who qualify for financial assistance. These subsidies are made possible through the generous support of various donors.

About Camp

Diabetes Canada’s camping tradition began in 1953 in Eastern Ontario. Since that time, our camp program has grown extensively and the organization currently operates nine overnight camp programs across Canada plus numerous year round programs.
