Something exciting is cooking at Diabetes Canada!
Aprons in Action, presented by Manulife, is our national cooking challenge and fundraiser supporting Diabetes Canada research, programs and education.
After months of cooking, fundraising and friendly competition, the Aprons in Action journey is coming to its grand finale at the Celebration Gala on November 14, 2026, at the Carlu in Toronto.
Six national finalists will take the stage for the ultimate Mystery Box Challenge, cooking live alongside Aprons in Action Ambassador Chefs Alvin Leung, Malcolm Campbell and Marissa Leon-John. More than 400 guests will come together to cheer on the finalists, experience their creations and celebrate the incredible community behind this campaign.
The evening will be a celebration of the participants, fundraisers, volunteers, chefs, sponsors and supporters who helped make Aprons in Action possible, all while raising funds to support Diabetes Canada’s mission.
You don’t need to log miles to make an impact. Just an apron, a little creativity and a whole lot of heart.
