Dynacare and Diabetes Canada are partnering once again to raise awareness about type 2 diabetes and prediabetes through the #Dynacare4Diabetes campaign.
This community screening initiative provides access to free A1C testing, a blood test used to assess average blood sugar levels and help identify diabetes risk.
The program aims to increase awareness of diabetes risk factors, support early detection, and connect individuals with educational resources and follow-up care. Free A1C testing is available at participating Dynacare Laboratory and Health Services Centres and select mobile clinics.
As part of the campaign, Dynacare will donate $0.50 for every A1C test completed, up to $15,000, to support Diabetes Canada's ongoing work in diabetes awareness, education, and support services.
