Our 2020 Professional Conference is still scheduled as planned, from October 28-31, 2020 in Calgary, Alberta.
We are continuously monitoring and evaluating COVID-19 updates and will follow guidelines and policies put forward by both the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and World Health Organization (WHO). The main priority is the health and well-being of our staff, volunteers and delegates and we will provide consistent updates on this site as they become available.

Call for abstracts
Abstracts are now being accepted for the 2020 Diabetes Canada/Canadian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism (CSEM) Professional Conference. New this year, CSEM residents may submit their clinical vignettes/research projects via the Diabetes Canada/CSEM Professional Conference abstract submission site.
To take advantage of our early bird rate of $25 per abstract, submit between now and Wednesday, April 29, 2020, before 5 p.m. EDT. Afterwards, regular fees apply ($45 per abstract). (Note: there is no fee to submit CSEM resident clinical vignettes/research projects.)
General abstract submission closes on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, 11:59 p.m. EDT.
CSEM resident clinical vignette/research project submissions close on Monday, September 7, 2020, 11:59 pm EDT.
