Help us strike out diabetes!

Diabetes Canada invites you to join us on Sunday, November 8, 2020; 12:30 - 3:00 PM for our 4th Annual Strike Out Diabetes Bowl-a-Thon. This year’s event will once again take place at the Kitchener Kingpin Bowlounge at Bingemans.

We hope you, your friends, family, co-workers, neighbours, dentist, mechanic, financial advisor,... you get the picture, will roll out in support of this great cause. Proceeds from this event go to diabetes research & local educational programs/services for adults and youth affected by diabetes.

To take part it's as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Represent your company, school, or pull together a group of friends/family and PRE-REGISTER a team of 5 – 8 bowlers by NOVEMBER 2nd. Don’t have a full team? No worries, singles, pairs… all are welcome. Just let us know and we can add you to a Diabetes Canada in-house team.
  2. Start FUNraising by collecting pledges or find a team sponsor. All you need is a minimum of $400 in pledges per team. Not sure how to raise pledges? Don't worry we'd be happy to share some helpful tips and tricks to get you started.
  3. Join Diabetes Canada volunteers and staff Nov. 8th for a fun day on the lanes!

Registration includes

  • 2 hours bowling
  • Shoe rental
  • Pizza and drinks
  • A goodie bag and more!

We've even got prizes for the individual and team that raise the most in pledges. Will you be the lucky winner?
