Join us as we say goodbye to The Meal
Every fall, The Meal Committee gathers and planning begins to set the stage for the next one just as we have for almost 40 years. Chef Todd is challenged with developing a fantastic menu, crafted to deliver The Meal Experience. Some are asked to identify the right wine pairing, while others begin the process of getting sponsors, reminding their contacts to “save the date” and getting the program in place.
After raising over $1.8 million for diabetes research including almost $40,000 in 2020, through the generosity of our sponsors and guests, it is with mixed emotions that we announce The Meal, Diabetes Canada's longest running gala, has come to an end.
Thank you for all of your support over the last 39 years. We would like extend an opportunity to say goodbye to The Meal by making a donation or by sending the committee your favourite memory to themeal@diabetes.ca. Whether it was the year that Bill Brady announced that Mike Weir won the Masters, when Victor Garber joined us for dinner, new friends that you met or your preferred menu, we’d love to hear from you.
