Diabetes may begin more than a decade before diagnosis
People who develop type 2 diabetes may show early warning signs of the disease more than 10 years before their diagnosis, according to new research presented at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes in Berlin, Germany.
LMC and Diabetes Canada launch Canadian Diabetes Prevention Program
The Canadian Diabetes Prevention Program (CDPP) is part of a national study that will investigate the efficacy of an intensive, digital and telephonic lifestyle change program in helping Canadians who have not been diagnosed with diabetes reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
