Friendly competition and creative activities are just some of the ways to help encourage young people to choose a healthier option than pop or soft drinks. In recognition of the need to support the health and well-being of children and youth in the Northwest Territories, the government introduced a campaign called Drop the Pop. One hundred per cent of NWT schools recently participated in fun and creative ways to help celebrate the program's tenth anniversary.
