LIVE RIGHT NOW is a six-month program designed to inspire Canadians to make small, manageable changes that will have a big and lasting effect on their health.

Walk, Run, Cycle for Diabetes 2011 – Windsor, ON - March 20, 2011 |

The walk, run, cycle at Wildwood Golf and RV Resort in Windsor on March 20 was a huge success with more than 153 participants. This inaugural event for walk, run, cycle in Windsor was Team Diabetes’ second community, grass-roots event and proved to be another large success. ‘Run the Greens for Diabetes’ organizers Mickey Fryer and Stefanie Rossi are longtime Team Diabetes participants with Mickey leading many events as an official trainer for the program. |

Team Diabetes turns out in force for Rome marathon! |

On March 20, 2011, thousands of participants took part in the latest version of the Rome Marathon – or to be exact, Maratona di Roma. A record number of 12,596 runners finished the race with Kenyan Dickson Chumba Kiptolo crossing the finish line first, but of greater importance were the more than 100 walkers and runners representing Team Diabetes! |
