Walk, Run, Cycle for Diabetes 2011 - Windsor, ON - March 27, 2011

Walk or run a 5K with Team Diabetes this March 27 at Wildwood Golf and RV Resort in Windsor.
This will be Team Diabetes’ second community, grass-roots event and proves to be another
large success. ‘Run the Greens for Diabetes’ organizers Mickey Fryer and Stefanie Rossi are
longtime Team Diabetes participants with Mickey leading many events as an official trainer for the
program.

Here are some tips for preparing for warm weather races when it is below zero outside…
Escaping the cold weather and running a race in a warm climate during the winter sounds appealing (especially with the winter we’ve been having of late), but it does present some training challenges. The key to being ready to race in warmer weather when you’re training in cold weather is to get acclimatized to warm weather.
