CANADIAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION/DIABETES EDUCATOR SECTION
DIABETES EDUCATION STANDARDS RECOGNITION PROGRAM (SRP) 2009

The Diabetes Education Standards Recognition Program (SRP) grants recognition to Diabetes Education Centers that successfully meet the Standards for Diabetes Education in Canada (2005). Centres complete a self-evaluation tool then submit it to the CDA/DES SRP Review Committee for consideration. The required outcomes are based on the Standards for Diabetes Education in Canada (2005). Recognition status continues for a five year period.
