The Canadian Diabetes Association has been operating camps for children living with type 1 diabetes since it first opened its doors in 1953. Today, we offer camp programs for kids and youth across nine provinces, as well as an ambassador program for youth and young adults with diabetes who want to share their experiences.
D-Camps provides children with type 1 diabetes with opportunities to enjoy an authentic camp experience.
If you are aged 14 to 29 and living with diabetes, volunteer as an ambassador to help educate community groups, organizations and educational institutions in your community!
