Who we are

Team Diabetes:

  • Is the national activity fundraising program for the Canadian Diabetes Association;
  • Promotes a healthy and active lifestyle to all Canadians; and,
  • Raises funds for the provision of education and services, while advocating for our cause and breaking ground toward a cure.

What we do

Buenos Aires

Alive, sexy, vibrant! The only words to describe Buenos Aires.  Join Team Diabetes as we travel to the sizzling capital city of Argentina for the 2015 Buenos Aires Half Marathon. Run or walk the unforgettable half marathon route, which takes you down the famed Avenida Callao, past the River Plate Stadium and through the City Centre.

Buenos Aires is one of the most beautiful and second-largest metropolitan area in South America, famous or Tango, European inspired architecture, gourmet cuisine, luxury shopping and energetic nightlife. Throughout the city, classical elegance peeks through contemporary sophistication, giving a nod to old-world splendor with cafes, colonial architecture, bustling outdoor markets and charming, eclectic neighbourhoods.

Add impromptu tango shows on the street and passionate supporters along the course route to the mix, the Buenos Aires half marathon is sure to provide a unique and memorable experience.
