Alberta & NWT - Alberta Monitoring For Health (AMFH) Program

The Alberta Monitoring For Health Program enables Albertans with diabetes, who meet eligibility requirements, to access limited funding to cover a portion of the cost of eligible diabetes management supplies. This program is administered by the Canadian Diabetes Association and funded by Alberta Health (under the Healthy Living Branch).

Learning Series – Aboriginal Adaptations

In Fall 2002, the Canadian Diabetes Association introduced Learning Series – a series of presentations designed to provide Association
volunteers and employees with a way to share basic diabetes
information.  They provide consistent, up to date and referenced
information, deliverable in every part of the country to those diagnosed,
those undiagnosed and those at risk of developing diabetes.
