Sharps Disposal
Follow these simple guidelines for proper disposal:
Place all syringes and sharps in a sealed, puncture-proof container (ie. Metal coffee tin or empty bleach bottle) Do not use glass containers.
Contact your local pharmacy to see if they offer free sharps containers or disposal
The improper disposal of syringes and other sharps in garbage or recycling containers poses a health hazard to both the community and sanitation workers.
