Abe Goertzen, has been a canvasser and Area Leader for the Canadian Diabetes Association for 12 years in Niverville, Manitoba.

Over the past five years, Greyhound Courier Express has provided tremendous support to the Canadian Diabetes Association by donating their services to the Association’s fall door-to-door residential canvassing campaign in Manitoba.

The support received from Greyhound has allowed the Association to deliver canvassing material each year to 3,000 volunteers reaching more than 50 cities and towns including rural communities throughout Manitoba.

“The Association is grateful for the generous donation received over the years from Greyhound Courier Express to help the more than 103,000 Manitobans living with diabetes,” says Andrea Kwasnicki, Regional Director, Manitoba and Nunavut Region for the Canadian Diabetes Association. “We look forward to our continued collaboration in the fight against diabetes.”
