Freedom Runs in Support of Diabetes Research
Toronto, ON - July 25, 2011 - Walk or run in support of diabetes research in the Cash Store Financial’s Freedom Run!
The Canadian Diabetes Association is proud to be a partner with the Alberta Diabetes Institute (ADI) and event sponsor Cash Store Financial for the Freedom Runs taking place August through October in St. John’s, Sydney, Fredericton, Moncton, Charlottetown, Barrie, Peterborough and London; as well as the Run for Diabetes in Dartmouth.
The Freedom Run events support the fight against diabetes by funding state-of-the-art, world class research at facilities across the country. Walkers and runners are encouraged to raise funds in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association and the ADI so that we can continue to lead the charge in ground breaking, diabetes research that will change the lives of the 9 million Canadians living with diabetes or pre-diabetes.
Participate in these fun, community based events and represent a cause that is becoming more and more important in the world today!

Together these organizations lead the world in diabetes research for prevention and treatment.
