Thank you to all the supporters of Edmonton’s 14th Annual Flame of Hope Golf Tournament, which raised over $99,000! Your support continues to help us fund innovative medical research, which will bring us closer to a cure for diabetes.
Not since the discovery of insulin 90 years ago has the medical community been so excited by all of the research that is leading to a possible cure. Diabetes discoveries, innovations, and breakthroughs begin at events just like this. Since 1975, caring donors like you have helped the Canadian Diabetes Association invest more than $100 million in research grants and awards. Currently, 107 Association-funded researchers are working to honour their legacy, and yours.
This tournament has been months in the planning and would not have happened without the tremendous support of the generous sponsors, donors, volunteers and staff. Thank you all for having made this day possible.
