WHAT: Smart Start is a supportive eight week group program designed for individuals diagnosed with, or at risk of developing, type 2 diabetes. Each session includes group education and exercise.
WHERE: Locations include...A.R. Kaufman Family YMCA ~ 333 Carwood Ave., Kitchener and the Chaplin Family YMCA ~ 250 Hespeler Rd., Cambridge
WHEN: Eight week sessions run throughout the year. Contact the YMCA for upcoming class dates and times open for registration.
COST: This program is FREE to YMCA Members. For Non-Members there is a $50.00 fee which includes a membership.
