Program Details: Keynote speaker: Dr Lorraine L Lipscombe, MD, MSc, FRCPC, Staff Physician, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism Women’s College Hospital. Her research studying the possible connection between breast cancer, breast cancer treatment and diabetes is currently funded by the Canadian Diabetes Association. Special guest: Mr Michael Cloutier, President and CEO, Canadian Diabetes Association. Also, the “Diabetes: The way I see it” photo exhibit.
