Walk or run at an upcoming Cash Store Financial’s Freedom Run in a community near you and support the Canadian Diabetes Association! The event is a great way to spend time with friends and family, be active all the while raising vital dollars to help the Association lead the fight against diabetes by helping people with diabetes live healthy lives while we work to find a cure.

In addition to participating on event day, walkers and runners are encouraged to raise funds in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association. These funds will be used to support Canada’s most renowned scientists and clinicians in their quest for new and innovative developments in the prevention, treatment, and management of diabetes. Although the research is diverse in its scope, the key aspects remain the same – to improve the quality of life of people living with diabetes and to find a cure.

The Canadian Diabetes Association’s mission is to lead the fight against diabetes by helping people with diabetes live healthy lives while working to find a cure. The Association delivers on this mission by providing people with diabetes and healthcare professionals with education and services; advocating on behalf of people with diabetes; supporting research and translating research into practical applications.
