Camp Briardale – Residential Camp for children age 8-15 living with type 1 diabetes

The Canadian Diabetes Association has held summer camp for children from Manitoba with diabetes since 1959. Thousands of children have gone through our Camp Program – learning to manage their diabetes with greater confidence and independence while taking part in activities inspiring personal growth, team building and an appreciation of the outdoors.
In 2012 Camp Briardale will be held at Camp Y in Woodlands Manitoba – 34 kilometers northwest of Winnipeg.

- Camp Dates: August 12-17, 2012
- Location: Camp Y in Woodlands Manitoba – 34 kilometers northwest of Winnipeg
- Medical and Nutrition Counselor Applications: Available in early 2012
- Camper Registration: Scheduled to begin February 1, 2012
- Who Can Attend: Children and youth who are 8 to 15 years old with type-1 diabetes.
