Gimli residents unite for diabetes awareness and fundraising
In partnership with the Interlake Regional Health Authority, 60 Gimli, Manitoba residents joined forces on Monday, November 14th for a fun-filled line up of activities in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association, and in recognition of World Diabetes Day.
Beginning with a community breakfast, moving into a walk, and capping off with a “Diabetes Jeopardy Challenge” quiz, participants raised $1,565 in donations towards diabetes education and research and the Canadian Diabetes Association.
