6th Annual Cardiac Rehabilitation Symposium & 12th Annual CRNO Education Day
Friday, May 6, 2011
Rumsey Centre, Toronto

This interactive conference will focus on the impact of heart disease on patients and families and the evidence-based supports and interventions that can be delivered to help them regain their health and rebuild their lives.

This year, the conference will focus on the psychosocial and behavioural aspects of heart disease, and participants will be able to add critical and practical instruments to their rehabilitation toolbox. The workshops will provide expert information about important and common issues faced on a daily basis — popular topics in nutrition and the impact of co-morbidities, including sleep and musculoskeletal problems. The Cardiac Rehabilitation Showcase will give different cardiac programs the opportunity to share their successes and expertise and learn from one another.

This is a must-attend event for cardiac rehabilitation professionals, including physicians, rehabilitation therapists, nurses, program managers, dietitians, policy makers, researchers and students who are interested in sharing their experiences and learning from prominent rehabilitation leaders.
