Policies and Procedures Of the Diabetes Educator Section Of the Canadian Diabetes Association (2011)
The following document contains the policies and procedures of the Diabetes Educator Section (DES) of the Canadian Diabetes Association. Chapters and members of the DES should use these policies to guide decision making in their roles as DES members and volunteers.
The overarching policies and procedures of the Canadian Diabetes Association, of which DES is a part, govern these policies and procedures. If there is a conflict between these policies and procedures, and those of CDA or with the Diabetes Educator Section bylaws, please consult CDA National Office, or the DES Executive. These policies and procedures do not replace provincial regulations or the rules and regulations of any governing or licencing body, nor do they replace any guidelines or policies from your employer.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this document, please feel free to call, fax or email the National office or the DES Executive.
Thank you for your interest and enthusiasm. Volunteerism makes DES a success
