The Canadian Diabetes Association is in the planning stages for the 2013 CDA/CSEM Professional Conference.

We are extremely excited about next year’s event, as we are partnering for the first time, for a unique, one-time event with the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress, the Canadian Stroke Network and Hypertension Canada to present Vascular 2013. This conference will be held October 17-20, 2013 in Montreal, Quebec. All groups will host their individual sessions, but will come together on Friday, “Vascular Day” to present topics of interest to all. We hope to attract over 6,500 attendees from across the health care spectrum fostering a cross-collaboration in research, education, networking and learning. Registration to any one conference will allow delegates to attend sessions presented by any of the groups. We will also be collaborating on a joint exhibit area/community forum; co-developed symposia and social activities/events.

Configuration of Vascular 2013 (October) for the Canadian Diabetes Association:

16th – Wednesday: Pre-conference workshops
17th – Thursday: Regular CDA/CSEM Programming
18th – Friday: Vascular Co-morbidity Programming
19th – Saturday: Regular CDA/CSEM Programming

Recognizing the need for knowledge exchange in vascular health, the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress, Canadian Stroke Congress, Canadian Diabetes Association/Canadian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism Conference and Heart and Stroke Foundation are joining forces for Vascular 2013.

This first ever Canadian event will bring Canada’s key medical conferences under one roof and mark an unprecedented educational and community building opportunity. Physicians, scientists, clinicians, nurses, educators, allied health professionals, and policy makers will be there. Will you?
