The Canadian Diabetes Association is leading the fight against diabetes by advocating on behalf of people living with the disease for the opportunity to achieve their highest quality of life.

The CDA’s advocacy direction is guided by three central themes:

  1. Addressing the burden of diabetes in Canada;
  2. Improving access to diabetes services, care and support; and,
  3. Achieving equity for all Canadians living with diabetes.
