Learning Series: Live Well with Diabetes
The Canadian Diabetes Association’s Learning Series is a suite of presentations offered to individuals and groups who want to learn more about diabetes prevention and management. These presentations are delivered in various community settings throughout the year across Canada.
This year, the Association is pleased to be collaborating with Loblaw Companies Ltd. which will allow us to reach even more Canadians. Delivered in the President’s Choice® Cooking Schools or Community Rooms, sessions will include either a store tour or cooking class, and will be held at participating stores between September 2011 and February 2012. Search for a participating store in your area.
As part of this partnership, all of our Learning Series sessions are presented by trained volunteers, and cover the following topics:
• What is diabetes?
• Living well with diabetes
Sessions are available in French in select communities.
