Every mother wants to protect her child. Unfortunately, many do not know the signs and symptoms of diabetes. Has your child been drinking and going to the bathroom more frequently than usual? Has he or she started wetting the bed again? Is he or she thirsty all the time? Children get diabetes, even those who do not have a family history of the disease, and these could be the warning signs. Diabetes is serious and could mean life threatening consequences for your child if not recognized and treated right away. You know your child best. If you suspect your child might have diabetes, see a doctor immediately.
