The Meal Celebrates 30 Successful Years

For the 30th consecutive year, on April 22 a group of the most talented Chefs in the London area served a feast of culinary delights to more than 400 guests in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association. Raising $30,000 this year, the event is known as The Meal.

Researcher Looks at Possible Link between Exposure to Environmental Chemicals during Pregnancy and Diabetes

With the support of a research grant funded by the Canadian Diabetes Association, Dr. Linda Dodds (Dalhousie University, Halifax) and her research team are investigating a possible connection between exposure to environmental chemicals during pregnancy and changes in metabolism, obesity, and diabetes in mothers and children.
