The Prospect List

Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

1.  A brainstorming session: here is where you think about all the people and organizations that are important you to and would be supportive of your ask

2.  A notebook and pen: write down all the names and places of the people and organizations you want to contact (keep this up-to-date as this will be your contact list for thank you letters once you’ve completed your fundraising and race!)

Here are some examples of people and places you may want to contact first:

* family and relatives
* school acquaintances
* friends and social circle
* work associates
* companies/corporations
* clubs and organizations
* neighbours
* church/synagogue
* local businesses
* anyone who owes you a favour
