Thanking Our Volunteers

imageMeet two of the many volunteers who make a difference: Ross Hirning was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 1994 and has been volunteering with the Association since 2004 in a number of capacities. “Everyone should volunteer for a cause or an organization that is important to them if they can.  I believe that informing people about diabetes is critical to the future good health of Canadians, and the best way for me to do that is by volunteering with the Canadian Diabetes Association,” says Ross.

“As a long time investigator in the field of diabetes, it is a great pleasure to volunteer with such an excellent organization that is making a difference in the lives of so many Canadians,” says Dr. Alexandra Jenkins, volunteer on the Canadian Diabetes Association’s National Nutrition Committee.

Thanks to everyone for their continued commitment and support in helping us make the lives of Canadians with diabetes better, while we work toward a cure.
