Turn Sales into Fundraising Dollars!

One of the easiest ways to fundraise is to sell products that your network would use or consume anyway. Not everyone has the time or inclination to spend hours creating, cooking or assembling something. Fortunately a number of companies have fundraising programs that feature some of their most popular products making it easy for you to turn your entrepreneurial talents into fundraising success!

imageCoffee is one great example as we all know more than a few people that enjoy a nice fresh brew morning, noon and night! Many coffee companies such as Pistol & Burns and Costa Cana offer fundraising programs through the sale of their fresh coffee beans. You can also visit your local cafes to see if they’ll sell your coffee for a few weeks to their own customers or perhaps donate a percentage of every beverage sale for a set period of time.

Chocolate is another popular fundraising item. Key holidays such as Valentine’s Day and Easter, in which this treat is at the foreforont, are just around the corner. Specialty retailers such as Purdy’s have different fundraising programs and now is a perfect time to sell these goodies (in moderation of course!) to your friends, family and coworkers. Most offer tasty, sugar free options making it a treat anyone can indulge in.

It may only be February but it’s time to also start thinking green! Many people are looking forward to Spring which means that it’s a great time to sell flower bulbs or potted plants in preparation for the planting season. Van Noort and Vesey’s Bulbs are just two among many that offer fundraising programs. The product selection is diverse enough that there will be something that appeals to both green thumbs and those who just want to add a splash of colour to their window sills!
