Baubles for Banting
Presented by Canfor, the 2nd Annual Baubles for Banting Gala was a glittering affair attended by 300 guests at Birks Downtown Vancouver flagship store. Honourary Chair Rusty Goepel and Co-Chairs Dr. Dennis Magrega and Shelley Johnson raised $110,000 for the Canadian Diabetes Association. Masters of Ceremony Honourable Wally Oppal, and Dawn Chubai of CityTV welcomed guests who were treated to a fashion show from Dianes Lingerie, lavish hors d’oeuvres and cocktails from C Restaurant, and live and silent auction items. Key highlights of the evening included the Birks Raffle Draw prize of a diamond pendant necklace from the Signature Collection by Ivanka Trump.
