Campaigns
One of the tools on which the Association relies for influencing diabetes decision making in Canada is the coordination of targeted political campaigns. These campaigns mobilize our volunteer advocates from across the country to meet with their federal and provincial Members of Parliament, write letters, sign petitions, participate in surveys and engage in many other supportive activities.
Also, when there is a federal or provincial election, the Association posts information for all interested viewers on each candidate’s platform and electoral promises and how they relate to diabetes issues.
